RevSpin Microcentrifuge 200
The RevSpin RS-200 has Multiple speed selections up to 11,000 RPM (in increments of 1,000 RPM). An oversized rubber base increases the reliability of the RevSpin models by absorbing vibration and limiting bench walking. Now includes free 0.2ml PCR strip rotor, 16 position 1.5/2.0ml rotor and 12 0.5ml reducers.

9 inches tall x 7 inches diameter
Net weight: 5 lb. (shipping weight 7 lb.)
The digitally controlled multi-speed microcentrifuge, includes a pulse feature for short spins and 12 0.5ml reducers
High capacity 16 position rotor receives 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes, each hole is clearly marked by numbers
Easy-load rotor permits tubes to be loaded vertically, but spin in 45° position
Oversized soft rubber base efficiently absorbs vibration, reduces noise and vibration transmitted to bench, stops bench walking, resists tipping, and absorbs impact from careless handling
Oversized 8mm shaft will not bend from abuse or imbalance
Forced air ventilation assures specimens, rotor and motor stay cool, even during extended runs
Safety switch instantly stops rotor if lid is slightly ajar, will not operate without cover in place
Areas of Focus
General lab use
Revolutionary Science has been manufacturing low-cost, high powered micro centrifuges since 1999. The RevSpin microcentrifuges are an excellent choice for DNA extraction or protein purification, do to their high RPM and g-force capabilities and competitive price. Sample content separation is achieved quickly. The RevSpin 102 is a low cost 2 speed unit with a 10,000 RPM maximum speed. The digital versatile RevSpin 200 reaches a higher RPM of 11,000, but will also go slow enough to spin down eukaryote cells without rupturing the cell membranes. The RevSpin microcentrifuges are an excellent choice for anyone performing biotech and microbiology applications. The RevSpin 102 was featured in the forensics crime lab on the popular TV Show, CSI Miami.
